The surveyor is a professional who identifies, defines, measures and evaluates the land and property ownership, public or private, built or not, the surface and the subsurface, and the work he does and organizes regards the right in rem. The surveyor diploma is awarded after passing the state exam from a technical institute for surveyors (ITG).
The diploma gives the right to use the title of surveyor. To be entitled to practice, the surveyor must pass the qualifying examination, after the registration in the register of practitioners of the provincial town where it performs professional practice and the completion of the eighteenth month of practice. Once enabled, the surveyor can operate throughout the whole Country and in all the others States members of the European Union, within the meaning of Directive 2005/36 / EC, which has recently accepted the professional figure of the surveyor within technical graduates (dir. 89/48 / EEC).
